Hi

I applied to be an Adobe Community Expert, I filled the form and everything

This was around a month ago

[removed]

But I haven't heard anything from Adobe yet

Am I missing something?

    I started with Adobe January 2002 with Premiere 6 (the OLD version 6, not CS6) that was bundled with an Alienware computer... since then, and now on the 4th or 5th version of the forum software, I currently have over 87 thousand messages written... about 3-4 years ago I was 'sponsored' when someone sent my name to the forum administrator as a good candidate to be elevated to CE status

    You have now posted 27 times... and your messages do not show a level of expertise that really warrants being elevated to CE status

    I applied to be an Adobe Community Expert,

    By @Ajajeh

    It takes time for the applications to be reviewed.

    I just looked at the very few posts you have made in the forums so far and find most of your answers to be weak. While you are waiting to hear back, you might concentrate on giving better and more precise answers that show your depth of knowledge of Adobe applications as well as your willingness to provide real assistance to users.

    Good luck.

    @jane-e (and others)

    someone edited the op's first post (check history) that revealed their motivation: to potentially get free products.

    No disrespect intended but I think your request is premature given your level of community participation so far.

    See screenshots.

    Compared to other experts, your community participation numbers are quite low.

    • Do you have any published books or tutorials to your credit?
    • Have passed the ACE (experts) exam?
    • Do you teach Adobe product use at an Adobe Authorized Training center?
    • Are you running any Adobe User Groups?
    • Were you invited to join by a Community Expert or Adobe Employee?

    Hi!
    My question wasn't when they give me the title, I know this takes time, but I applied to the program I was just wondering if i was enrolled or not, if they accepted my application or not

    @Ajajeh

    you're not in the program.

    you can determine that anytime by checking under your forum name (Ajajeh) where it says Explorer.  that will change to Community Expert if you were in the program.

    An Adobe Community Expert is usually chosen after being recommended for the program by another Community Expert or an Adobe employee.

    Perhaps they don't feel you are expert enough yet, or don't have enough track record with just 23 posts. Maybe you need a few thousand. Maybe they feel your motivation isn't what they are looking for. Or maybe they are just busy - Adobe often go quiet for months on end. Good luck!

    There is a prerequisit to enter the expert program?
    there was no mention of anything, or at least I didn't see any mention of prerequists

    I thought I apply, the accept the application and see the progress

    it's not a public assistance program.  ie, there's no obligation to accept you and your statements here don't further your cause.
