August 24 2020 Community Release Notes

Hi All,

The Adobe Support Community has released enhancements and bug fixes on August 24, 2020. In this release, we upgraded threaded message view in Private Message section for users to follow conversations more easily, introduced advanced search on the search result page, rebranded the profile menu drop-down to stay consistent with the rest of Adobe surfaces, and fixed various user reported bugs.

Community Search

• Enhancement : Implemented advanced search customization where users can specify certain search criteria to get most accurate and relevant results. You can access the advanced search functionality on the search result page.

Private Message

• Enhancement: Introduced threaded message view for users to better follow conversations. Previously, this view was linear and it was difficult for users to follow multiple threads at the same time.

User Experience 

• Enhancement :Rebranded profile menu drop-down to stay consistent with the rest of Adobe surfaces
• Bug : Fixed the issue where user screen name was not showing up properly due to large sizing of user role badge

Profile

• Bug : Fixed the issue where dropdown was not displayed on IE when clicked on profile avatar
• Bug : Fixed the issue where profile hover does not stay when user enters in the pop-up area
• Bug : Fixed profile hover related issues for different languages and browsers : a) if screen name is lengthy it goes out of the pop-up b)scroll bar comes out of popup

Community Experience

• Bug : Conversations are not loading on community page for both logged in and logged out users except for chrome
• Bug : Issue when the popup on username name does not go away unless hover over again on that name
