So, the "Banned Users" thread has been locked... nothing offensive posted there.

Anyway... am confused... just saw in the PS forum that there was a post from John Joslin about two hours old... wrong time-stamp? Time now is GMT 02:50

I am happy to see that JJ was allowed back in. What happened to him really took the wind out of his sail. He really enjoys helping people in the forums, knows his stuff, and is a good person at heart.

The others who were banned, the action should not be taken lightly as their contributions to the forums can never be replaced if they do not return. The loss of free intellectual help (intimate with daily product usage) far outweighs any card reading customer service help.

    But why was he banned?

1/ I saw nothing offensive here

2/ Hardly likely he'd post something offensive in the product forums

3/ Kath-H and Buko have, apparently, also been banned

I suspect this thread will be locked soon too. Seems to be a don't ask, don't tell policy around here. Kinda makes you wonder

Not all bans are permanent. Even JayJhabrix' ban started out as a

temporary ban to reinforce the warning he got and only became permanent

when he started mutating identities. (And even now some of his other

identities he already created in May are not banned but are on my

    watchlist.)

What does this have to do with the price of fish? Are you saying John Joslin was banned for a day or so? And Kath-H and Buko? Jay Jhabrix' various identities were quite obvious... even i caught a couple... he always used Jhabrix somewhere in the name so it was clear it was always him... anyway... hope you lift the ban on Kath and Buko as well... but i couldn't for the life of me see why they were banned...

You really should be asking John Joslin. Adobe won't tell, the rest of

    us doesn't know.

No he didn't. He started using variations after he was banned in

September, but his identities from May are quite different and do appear

to be designed to remain unconnected to his main identity.
