Correct answer Abambo

Thanks for reporting, I see that Adobe staff has disabled the two accounts.

I think that any user here on the fora should know:

  • Adobe as part of the id-name does not guarantee that the user is Adobe.
  • Only people marked "STAFF" and having the Adobe logo behind their names are employees of Adobe.
  • Adobe staff does not use Skype or Google Hangouts for getting in contact of users.
  • Do not give access to your computer if you are not sure the other side is Adobe staff.
  • Adobe staff e-mail is ending on "adobe.com". Anything else is at least suspicious. The Adobedesk-email address is fake support.
  • Report anyone that you find suspicious here and if action can be taken it will be taken. Unfortunately the "Adobedesk" e-mail address is out of reach for direct Adobe action.

Adobe disables fake Adobe accounts as soon as they get reported but unfortunately for an account disabled a different one pops up. Be vigilant and if in doubt refuse contact.

That's a pretty nifty trick, fellas, considering you guys are posing as Adobe reps by using the company name in your User IDs.  It shouldn't take anyone with a brain to figure out that the email address (adobedesk@USA.COM) you provided me was as bogus as you are.

In the meantime, I'd love to see that screen shot of where I requested payment.  Time to put your big boy pants on and pony up.
