Can't import .xmp preset to my Lightroom 6

I just bought presets and when opening them realized they were .xmp files. I tried to look and see what i could do to import them but every way i found didn't work. Path: Preferences/Presets/Show Lightroom Presets Folder/ Camera Raw and there's not a settings folder. So I tried the + next to the presets and it goes straight to create preset instead of giving me the option of importing preset. I have no idea what else to do. Can anyone help?

Lightroom 6 does not use .XMP Develop presets, so you cannot use these.

They were introduced in Lightroom-Classic v7.3 (if I remember correctly)

You should ask the supplier if they have the .LRTEMPLATE filetype.

Some have asked if it is possible to convert .XMP to .LRTEMPLATE-
