Capitvate editing question...please help.

Hi - I have recorded audio and slides for a presentation I gave using captivate.  I need to edit the audio and would like to keep the slides in sync.  How can I do this?  I am able to edit the audio, but that puts the slides out of sync.

1. How can I divide/split a recorded slide?

2. Is it possible to simply cut out audio and "video"/parts of slides at the same time?

3. I can shorten a slide from the back end, can I shorten it from the front end?

    Strange though, of late the lockings have eased off... some threads regarding processors, etc are not locked... much better... but wonder how long it'll last...
