A big WELL DONE to the Adobe folks who brought us this upgrade.

No more extra blank lines in the editor!

No more failures to update an edited post!

No more opening another window to read the thread while editing!

Lots of cool new features!

I returned after the roll-out, and held my breath. So far, I have had few complaints, beyond some in the beta-forum, that probably just could not be implemented. I'll hold off a full "pass," until I have had time to use everything with synced servers. Right now, looking good.

Thanks to the Adobe team, and John C, in particular.

    WOW !!!

Now I can unmark answers previously labeled as 'Correct' and 'Helpful' if I changed my mind (or just had a row with a poster)!

What is more, now I can mark my own answers as 'Correct' and 'Helpful'!

(it doesn't increase my points though... <img src="http://www.kolobok.us/smiles/standart/cray.gif">)

However, I can assign Rating for myself (those stars under original poster message) !!!

Not exactly... All those features carefully preserved in 'advanced editor' mode...

Since the "advanced editor" is used for editing posts, are you saying you've seen failures to update after an edit?  I haven't had that happen yet.

NO! I was just too lazy to delete the line in the middle

Email Notification Preferences must be set again after migration to the new forum.  (There are a few more options now than in the old forum.)

No more "Personalized view" on the home-page?

And formatting is back!!! (would it be too much to ask once more to set the default font to this Verdana or another screen-friendly, easy to read font?)

(I posted the above in a thread nobody is visiting, so I'm posting it again here).

    Congrats, JC&Co.

There are many things I am liking so far. However, in the list of threads, I'm missing the total number of posts in each. Could we have it back?

    Hi Claudio,

Are you saying you see a significant difference in the readability of the Verdana font and Arial?  Personally, I prefer Arial of the two.

    What browser are you using?

Have you investigated use of the browser zoom feature?

    Hi Noel,

pleease have a look here: http://askville.amazon.com/noticeable-difference-Arial-Verdana-Fonts/AnswerViewer.do?requestId=3059558 and here: http://37signals.com/svn/archives/000303.php.

One of the participats meant e.g.: "I prefer Verdana for a variety of reasons, but the main one is its legibility. I feel very comfortable reading it. In comparison, reading Arial makes me feel cross-eyed, just because the letters are so tightly packed."

Thank you also for allowing highlighting!  I have made this change about half a year ago, but only now it is actually showing (see http://forums.adobe.com/community/webplayers/flash_player).

Yes, well done to John and all the team. The 'new' forums are very responsive. Even on the phone.

JTANNA, the insert as plain button is available in the Advanced Editor.

    Hello Noel,

this is a conclusion I fully share, the new face I like well, BUT could you have a look to your/our user profile/s?

Beautiful black frame, I only know it from obituary notices!
