Contribute CS4 Menu Bar showing full File Extensions

I am the primary IT guy for a small not-for-profit. When I stepped in, they had just gotten rid of their old company who set up most of their computers, so I do not know exactly how they came to this (and I have never worked with contribute before).

They use Contribute CS4 on Windows Vista SP2, and the main problem is that the Menu bar shows the entire file extensions to each item, so for the "File"option, it reads, "Configuration/Menus/ccmenusxml/menu/DWMenuFile/File" and so on with each menu item.

How can I reset the defaults on this? It is frusterating having to resize the window just to see all the menu items. They would rather not reinstall Contribute if they don't have to.
