Question

Different backgrounds in some forums

It seems that the contrasting white background of some posts are back in some forums.

They seem to apply to staff, but only in certain forums, such as this case,

http://forums.adobe.com/message/4590383#4590383

but not in this case,

http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1038853?tstart=0

It is quite disturbing, and bewildering because the post with the Correct label has the white background too.

I hope this is something that will quietly go away again.

The other solution would be to make everyone an MVP if not staff, and get the white background and good contrast back throughout all threads, just as in this one.

    Argh.

Now it is even worse: it is in all forums and for all staff/mvp posts.

It is no less disturbing and bewildering than before.

Please tell us it is a ghost that will be put to rest again, John.

    Jacob,

One positive of the "new" backgrounds being everywhere, is that block quotes now will not have as many gray backgrounds...

    Jacob,

I have observed the same between some of the Premiere forums, and the Photoshop forum.

Sometimes, the white background for Staff, and sometimes not. Now, I have not observed that difference in the same forum, but will keep an eye out for it. So far, it seems to be a forum-by-forum situation.

Is it forum-by-forum? Or particular users?
