Question

empty NGL folder keeps being created

Creative Cloud 6.8.1.861 under macOS Tahoe 26.3.1: Empty folders named ngl (or NGL?) keep being created in /Users/Shared, typically a new one within a day after deleting its predecessor.  I asked in Apple community forums and got the indication that they were related to Adobe Creative Cloud Next Generation Licensing.  Is there a way to prevent these useless folders from being generated?

Strange: this problem has recurred for several months, but since yesterday, when I started asked communities about it, it has not occurred!

Kind of a hack and kind of a fix: I made the existing NGL folder hidden.

they’re generic licensing folders. i don’t think you can prevent their creation.
