Total chaos over logging-in, being logged-out, round and round :(

During the same session, I get randomly logged out. I'm in, I write a post, I hit 'Post Message', I'm out. Therefore, there's something wrong apart from a cookie only lasting until I close that browser. Witchcraft?

No? How else are they tracking you, incense?

I had one new cookie yesterday. That's all.

I noticed that www.adobeforums.com is using a new session cookie instead of a permanent one, which is the same mistake they made last time.

No name change required for me. But -- a LOT of logging in again. And again. And...

And the old flags do go away after log-in.

I just kept logging in every time I was asked and eventually it stopped (for the moment) asking.

    No name changes necessary.

I think it is clear that this is not the switch over we have been told about, but the just rationalisation of log-in names.

But my attempts are correct. I get to where I'm going, can even make an occasional post. Then I get logged out again. 2-second cookies?????

It's similar to the way the Dell forums went a few months back. Had to create and register new logins and email addresses because every wrong attempt would lock out the old ones.

Plus the forum design itself was/is awful (and about 20 times slower).
