How do you log out?

How do you log out of a forum? Is it at all possible?

Seems I am logged in to any forum I go to if I switch between different ones, even ones I never previously used to be a member of. So am I now a member of all existing forums just because I logged in?

I've actually been a member of several Adobe forums since 2002, but today they all consider me a new member who only joined today and gave me a screenname I  haven't used for quite some time. Not funny.

Yes you can do that but that logs you out of the system entirely. Even logs you out of Adobe.com

if your reading a message in a Given Forum and want to quit the thread to the right click on: stop email Notifications.

If you want to stop looking at an entire Forum you will see a line long the lines of  Adobe  Forums> Adobe General Forums> Forum contents (using this forum for an example.  Click on the Forum  and  when you see the list of topics click again on: stop email Notifications This will tell sytem to stop sending email notifications either for a given thread, or an entire forum; depending upon  what you choose.

???? I've never logged into or out of a specific forum, I don't remember any way to do that in the old forums. If you logged out, you were out of the whole system.

I have a dim recollection of a log out link in the old forums but I might remember wrong. Why I wondered now is because I really wanted to try another login as I suddenly got another identy with these new forums. And I did NOT join today, I joined in August 2002...

You would need to have associated your Adobe ID and your old-forum screen-name before the changeover to have your number of posts picked up. I think.
