How to delete text from search field??

In most search fields the "x" on the right clears the search. That doesn't work on the site. Why? And why are there two search fields? They both seem to be equally useless.

    I've moved this to Community Feedback.
    I think it's a valid point, so I've opened a request with engineering and added this to the Feedback Tracker 🙂

      I'm not sure what you mean by two search fields, as I only see one. The other question is a good one. May I suggest that you add this to the Community Feedback forum?

       

      No one here has been particularly happy with the forum software, but the Adobe team is working with the provider of the software and things are slowly (oh, so slowly) improving.
