I have a small question. Can I input emoticons in this forum without the help of other software? I checked every Edit button, but I didn't find it...

Simply type colon followed by sm  --  :sm

This is what pops up.

Likewise, you can get other Emoticons by typing colon followed by other letters.

Experiment & have fun!  😇

You're welcome.  I confess I discovered it purely by accident (sloppy typing).

If you're on Windows 10, just hit the Windows key along with the full stop/period key and it should bring up the Windows emoji's panel 😉

You can add it as an image:

Hi Raymond, there's no shortcut in the reply box that shows you the emoticons that are supported. I usually just type them in and the site automatically puts them after you hit "post". Example: I type : ) without a space, then I get: 🙂
