Is it Legal?

Adobe has made copies of their product EULAs available. They will tell you in which cases somebody is allowed to sell their license (look for "License transer"). If every previous owner of the license you bought has complied with the EULA, you will be entitled to the rights set forth in the EULA. If any of the previous owners didn't, you are not entitled to anything.

There may be (at least) one very good reason for asking such a question: if you wish to have an older version no longer for normal (re)sale.

The crucial prerequisite is that the application has been bought legally and has neither been used as the basis for an upgrade nor have had its serial number misused.

You may be in deep water, though, so it is good to be able to swim; hence the need to know how.

This forum is not specifically made for this, but I am not sure where else in these forums such questions should be asked; this is a bit like (general) questions about Customer Support.

You take a big chance from buying off of e-bay. Lots of fake copies that look like the real thing. If the price is too good to be true then it is too good to be true. The serial numbers can already be used or black listed because too many people are using it. If it is keygen then your asking for trouble. If it is a fake disk it won't run. The list of problems are endless.

My point would be is that if you are here asking the question then you know there is something not right. Why risk losing your money.
