Is long Adobe.com Login link safe?

Sorry, I don't know what "community" to put this in, as it's about Adobe's website, not software.

I'll go ahead and paste here. FYI, I cleaned out cache and history, then open new website window for adobe.com, then click on LOGIN in upper right and noted the following URL in addr bar, and wonder if it's safe, and why it's so long?

It's perfectly OK - due to the way the AdobeID single-sign-in operates, there's a bunch of parameters that are passed via HTTP GET instead of cookies or POST data, so the URI tends to be huge.

As long as the domain name is adobe.com I would assume that it's save.

Sorry, but that doesn't help what I want to know. I want to know why login isn't simple adobe.com addr, why all that extra is added and what it means.

Basically these parameters tell the login procedure where to redirect after a successful sign in.

But honestly I have never seen this, as I am always automatically signed in when going to http://www.adobe.com/
