May we PLEASE have an option for ignoring a user?

It's a fact.  Not all forum users will get along.  I grok that.  Brightly, brightly and with great beauty.

Most users that I have an issue with, I can just skip over their responses and go on with my day.

But every once in a while there is a user who just annoys the snot out of me, and cannot be ignored.  It is for this type of user that I am begging and pleading for Adobe to either A) find a plugin for the Jive platform that will allow users to have a list of users to ignore, or B) petition the Jive authors to add this capability.

And, please, before anyone suggests adding a script to my browser, or doing this, or doing that.. I can't.  I do not have the ability to install anything, or add any plugins, to my work computer.  The network powers-that-be do not want us users to mess with anything.  Security issue.

V/r,

Sorry, never going to happen. It's been discussed several times over the years, and because of the way Jive pages are generated it's not feasible to implement; nor does Jive see it as appropriate. This isn't social media - you're not just reading posts from people you like.

If a user is consistently violating the Guidelines, they can be reported and Adobe will deactivate the account.

Every day, I hate Adobe just a little bit more.  I'd have junked this account a long time ago, if it weren't for the fact that most companies that want CF functionality for their site/application won't switch to an open source version.
