According to a post by Jochem van Dieten - his second para - here:

http://forums.adobe.com/message/2350801#2350801

Jive is now on Version 4. Adobe, as we can still see, is refusing to upgrade from their Version 2.5.7... QED

true. Adobe had to buy this crap in the first place, and as you pointed out they won't upgrade.

But if they did upgrade who is to say things would be much better after all it is jiveware.

I remember that JC explained that we couldn't keep our superior page-design when the Forums moved to Jive because it was necessary to stay with Jive's standard non-customized layout to allow for easy upgrades to Jive's Updates.

Now we have this horrible Forum layout AND a two-version out-of-date version of Jive.

Perhaps Adobe can have the decency to explain exactly why they are short-changing their customers in the reduced quality of both their Customer Support and their User's Forums?

    Is Adobe going broke?

Is Jive 4 even worse than Jive 2.x?

Or do Adobe simply no longer care about their Customers?

Or is there a lot more to running an enterprise level forum than you realize?

Yes, we are also missing the correction of some other bugs in intermediate versions, for example: 79.
