In many forums you have "code field" like the "quote field"

And many of those "code field" is expand/collaps able and often with an option to select all (for copy/paste)

I think this is missing frome the forum, perhaps mostly in the forums where code are used/discust  (like the dreamweaver and golive forums) but can also come in handy in other forums

I think it woud be great to have that

What do you other think ???

It was available in the beta...

Aha, here it is. Go to the ">>" icon and then into Syntax Highlighting. Alas, there are still no javascript/actionscript/applescript options!

    HTH,

    Eric.

    Hi Eric

Yes ..that i found and tryde it... But thats not exatly what i meen

Sometimes you have to show a large amount of code

And in those cases a colapsable code field woud be nice for all parts, so one dont need to scroll for 30 minuts to come to next comment

Also.. Why do one have to chose syntaxs highlighting>plain to write code ?? .. that makes no sens.. and the code aint even highlightet

Alas, there are still no javascript/actionscript/applescript options!

    And not html option ;-)

Basecly i find that part of the forum very porly don

Yeah, I agree the code area was pretty poorly though out. A couple of us made some attempts to get changes in, but nothing really happened.

I eventually got fed up and decided to at least make them a usable width, lol, so I made that Stylish style. Maybe at some point I'll see how hard it would be to hack the CSS for the code box to be hideable.
