My post counts is wrong

Now that the Forums speed problem is solved for me, I'll ask a question I meant to ask since we changed to the Jive Forums.

My post count was reset to zero when we switched to Jive" Clearspace. Is there a way for the Admins of these Forums to "recover" my real post count since 2002?

I remember, I changed my screen name at that time to ReneG, would it have cause that?

    Correct answer

Forums work great (speed, people's reply, and stuff)....

Dont care about the number of posts, just think about how many people have you helped!

    Bye

The person worked long and hard for over 7 years helping people and the number of posts mean something to them. It is a accomplishment.

It is very bad timing to ask this while the dust on the latest update has not yet settled and people are a tad busy. I would recommend to let this thread die and refloat it in two weeks or so.

I don't really care if my post count is changed, but I lost a fair number of posts (1999-2005) with the switch from hopper to greenjumpyone.

I remember there was a long period during the trial phase in which we were asked to do something (I forgot what) to pass the information from our previous to our new account. Probably, this means that the information is gone for ever by now.

    Claudio,

A few days before the changeover, I was asked to verify my Adobe I.D. and to update my profile. That data did carry over when Adobe went Jive - until early this week. Still, it seems that much of my account is now back on track - at least for the moment.

I feel your pain. For a while, I went from 12,000 to 6. That was atop the 10,00+/- that I lost in about 2002, when my old account was lost - but who's counting? I was more concerned with my lost salamis. Just about the time that I could top a pizza - poof - gone! I was glad to see them come back after a lot of work with loggin-in and logging-out. That is, if I CAN log-out.
