Newbe just downloaded conversion to word not working?

Hi, I have just purchased the conversion package.

The conversion seems to work - I can delete- change words within a converted document but when I try to add to a sentence or value after the first one or two letters or digits this addition automatically drops me into the next line.

Example is pricing an inventory:-

3 piece suite Enter $ =OK enter 1 =ok enter addtional digits the $ plus extra digits drop one line.

(in this case ist three digits)

3 piece Suite $10

Dining table

Chairs

Result

(after I add two more digits)

3 piece suite

$1000

Dining table

Any ideas as to how I can solve this please?
