Now Trouble Replying to Posts

I have IE10 on Windows 7 x64, and haven't had any system changes since the last Windows Update 12 days ago.  Yet now for the past day or so I am having problems replying to threads.  This is new, and on top of the problems over the past several days where the Enter key simply does not work right.

It doesn't always go wrong, but when it does it goes like this:

• I click the Reply link.
• I type a message (using, e.g., shift-Enter to get new lines into the post)
• I click the [Post] button.
• Unexpectedly the following pop-up is shown:
   
  
  
  
• If I choose "Stay on this page" it just sits there showing "Please Wait" forever.  If I choose Leave this page, it shows this:
  
  
  
  

What I want to know is this:  Isn't anyone responsible for making this forum work right?
