Question

Overeager Moderator locks yet another thread...

I don't see what the need for locking this thread is:

http://forums.adobe.com/thread/483480?tstart=0

The OP is aware that he has posted in the wrong forum. He is not posting further. But by locking the thread the overeager moderator is denying the OP help. There may just be someone who could guide him to, if not the correct, at least a helpful forum.

Moreover, there is no abuse peing posted nor has the thread degenerated into a joke... so why this heavy-handed locking?

This topic has been closed for replies.

He is. He posted in the Photoshop SDK forum, then waited a day and came

back to continue here. Had he responded immediately when he started

the new thread and just said thank you, there would have been no reason

    to lock.

Everybody can follow the link to the Photoshop SDK forum and help him there.

Good to hear I was able to remove it before you noticed.

All he said was he'd posted there and there was no reply yet.http://forums.adobe.com/message/2212289#2212289

That is by no means an attempt to carry on. Just a polite gesture keeping this thread and forum (John T probably in this case), informed that he had followed the advice.

And in the event, you chose to lock the thread, for reasons as you say:

Everybody can follow the link to the Photoshop SDK forum and help him there.

Then out of sheer politeness you should have provided the link to his post in that forum before locking the thread.
