How do you search using the box at the top of this page for a phrase like "direction handle"? No matter what I do, it includes many occurrences of the two words where they are separated by many other words. Some search engines work with "quotes", but not this one.

In other words, Adobe's search does not have this capability?

it's far superior to use google to search adobe:

 

site:adobe.com your search terms.
