Profile problems

Question

As you can see, I gave up trying to use a sensible screen name, and typed random characters. I would like to reset this, and my email address.Is it me, or this this forum software terrible?

Your screen name comes from your Adobe ID and is not connected to the Forums. The forums pick up your name information when you log in. You have to go back to your Adobe ID to change your name.

Here are the steps for changing your user name at Adobe.com…

Go to http://www.adobe.com

Click on “Your account” at the very top of the page (near the red Adobe logo)

Sign in with your current Adobe ID (you should now be on the Your Account page)

Scroll down to the Account Information section

Click on Edit Your Account Information

Go to the Screen Name field, remove the current name, type in a new name

Click on the Update & Continue button at the bottom of the page

The next time you log into the Forums it will pick up and display your new name.
