Search bar exception

Search bar is having unwanted behaviour, like just on focus without hitting any text into it, it is making background blurr.

And the X icon which is located just right side of search edit text is having only functionality of clearing the text in it.

And Exit search icon also appears on focus of this edit text.

While typing in it if text length goes longer that search edit box, texts are going under X icon.

I tried to add screen shot but unfortunately upload button is not working.
