The very best wishes to everyone on this extraordinarily bright day of sun.

Light is come again, up here in the northern half of the Earth, on the shortest day, and it is the longest day in the southern half.

Many important celebrations will occur over the next quarter, including New Year for almost everyone.

Let us hope for happier times in the year to come.

My best wishes also for the ever decreasing number of people coming here regularly. Let's hope this is a good year for everyone.

Midwinter full moon high over glittering snow is also an extraordinary experience, at complete calm and -22.5 degrees C (-8.5 F), stars faint in the bright clear sky.

Well said Phillip, and seems that most bases were covered.
