How do you set your email to private in the Adobe forum? I have gone to my preferences, my Adobe, everywhere and I see no option to set my email to private.

You can see your own email address, but others see the following under your profile:

Total Points: 0   Total Posts: 3

        Email:(Private)

To see it for yourself, you can log out and have a look, hovering over your avatar.

Many have worried about this, including myself.

By default, your address is set to private. If you want to change it to make it public:

    Click on Your Stuff

    Click on Profile

Click on Edit forums profile & privacy

Click on the Privacy Settings tab

Change the Email field from Yourself (Private) to Everyone (public).

Thanks to you both for the answers. When I click on profile all I have is a default avatar and my name and email address which is a link to send me an email. I do not have an option to edit forums profile & privacy. Today is the first day I logged on to the forums and I did not make my email public.

When I go to the link that John sent I just get a bunch of options for when I want notifications sent to me.
