Subject drop-down issue

Hey, the subject drop-down when creating a post is not a great experience. It blocks the entire interface the moment you start typing. It has no close button, clicking anywhere else does nothing, and even the "no posts similar..." message blocks the editor menu. How did you get this wrong?

Not here. Disappears as soon as I click outside the box or hit Tab.

Chrome, Safari and Firefox on macOS Big Sur. What browser/OS are you using?

One thought: have you tried clearing your browser cache?

In my desktop Firefox, clicking anywhere outside the subject form field causes the drop-list to vanish.
