The joys of Jive

In the latest reincarnation, after days of

lousy response, inserting returns in lines on it's ow

n volition, it also inse

rts a lot of crap in quotes, it no longer allows the upload of image

s that were allowed a few days ago, but are not longer accepted,

the insertion of God knows how much crap in the HTML code, this looks like a major catastrophe. Not only user names were modified, sometimes beyond recognition, threads disappeared, the search function that does anything BUT search, but not being able to post normal content and screenshots is a major handicap.

Adobe, get your act together and get us some forum software that works!

Search on one of the 4 nodes of the forum cluster is down. If you don't have any search result at all, chances are you are on that node.

    Harm,

Your experiences mirror mine in all respects.

With the exception of the loss of the "camera" icon, I can work around the rest. I have found that if I log-in from the Adobe.com screen to my old screen name/account and navigate to the fora, things work OK. I also seem to stay logged-in longer. I was 4 hours, almost on the dot, but now seems to be ~12.

Block quotes just take several goes and Ctrl+Z's to get it to work, and the hard returns issue only happens (to me) once per reply.

The Attach File on the bottom still works, but I cannot use the camera, even on 40x40 JPEG's, or PNG's. Maybe soon?

We'll find ways to get by, but it's not a good sign in my book.

Now, if I can just find my missing Adobe product registrations...

You forgot that the logout option is missing in action too. Log out

, close the browser (this carriage return problem too)

and then come back. Your still logged in and the option to log out at the top is missing.

    Sweet.

When you open HTML view it is even worse. It looks like:
