"This application has failed to start....... Reinstalling the app...."

Hi,

     I installed my CS4 and I keep getting this error when I tried to start an application.  I get, "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect.  Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."  I have tried reinstalling it and it still didn't work.

     I have a windows xp.  Any suggestions?
