Question

Too few search results per page

I have my profile preferences set to view 50 search results per page, but I am still seeing only 10. I also tried the instructions from this prior post, but it doesn't change anything.

This is extremely annoying. I use Windows 11.

again, post the url of your search, and the url of your adjusted (to see 50) url.

none of your links look like search links.  are you going to a forum (eg, id) and clicking in the search field

entering your search term and then applying the suggested fix to the resulting url?

In the case I sent you, I was narrowing down the Indesign community to see all the
scripting related posts. But I wasn't getting any longer of a list when I did do a
search.

When the preferences gives the option for "threaded posts," what is it referring to?
Was I wrong to assume that should be making it 50 posts per page without a manual
adjustment?

I was using Firefox as the browser if that makes any difference.

This is the original link from my browser search.

https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/ct-p/ct-indesign?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter=resolved&lang=en&tabid=discussions&topics=label-scripting%2Clabel-uxpscripting&label-sdk=

The screen is not showing number of entries I have selected in preferences. So I proceed to manually editing the search URL.

When I modify it like this according to the instructions referenced above, my screen refreshes, but it still shows only 10 search results and 3 pinned messages from Adobe (those are annoying too; is there any way to mark them as read?).

https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/ct-p/ct-indesign?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter=resolved&lang=en&tabid=discussions&topics=label-scripting%2Clabel-uxpscripting&search_type=message&search_page_size=50&label-sdk=

I wasn't sure if the "advanced" part was necessary in my search, so I didn't add it at first, but I also tried it that way.

https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/ct-p/ct-indesign?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter=resolved&lang=en&tabid=discussions&topics=label-scripting%2Clabel-uxpscripting&advanced=true&search_type=message&search_page_size=50&label-sdk=

My browser automatically rearranged the order of the added entries, so I don't think it's possible for me to have added them at the wrong place. I assume the "field names" must be different in different communities. I will be very happy if you can tell me what will work.
