Two or More Adobe ID's

In Photoshop Elements Forum I was informed that it is not uncommon to have more than one Adobe ID. In Adobe chat they told me of a second ID that was on record to my name but I can not login for some reason. My primary ID works fine I can log in and out but the other ID will not accept my password or make a password change. I need to log in to the second ID to see and respond to messages in the PSE forum that I was able to use previously.
