Question

User Voice requires individual account for each App!

Am I stupid or is Adobe very, very stupid – am I really required to have an account to report a bug in InDesign and then another to report a bug in Illustrator? That is just sooo stupid!!! And soo not user friendly!! And why don't Lightroom users get a VOICE?

@stephanw13000224,

Adobe Support Community Beginners can't delete content until they accrue more badges through active forum involvement.  Sorry.

As for UserVoice, it's being phased out.  BUG and IDEAS may be posted in these Adobe product community boards.  You need only one ID and password.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for everyone's replies. That sort of almost answered my question. Why posts can't be deleted or even edited eludes me. What a moronic decision. Getting a moderator to fix one's typos? What if you regret posting when angry – after all, that IS how most people will feel, when you can't fix something or the software doesn't work. Most often this happens after an update when some genious developper decided to change a function that worked for decades or moves a tool to some stupid place on a whim. Or take the fact that you have to post several times before you "earn" the privilege to edit their post – it beggars belief. And in this particular case it's probably a good thing I know I won't be able to edit. Cos I would have a range of choice expressions to comment on that... Also, fewer posts means people are happy with the apps – right?

welcome to our group of users that are pushing to allow all contributers (no matter their level of forum participation) to edit messages.

you can't delete.  and you can't even edit without a certain number of forum postings.

the inability to delete serves some purpose but the inability to edit serves no useful purpose (imo) and we're pushing for that to change.

and uservoice is not adobe.  ie, your login/pass for uservoice isn't the same as for adobe unless you signed up using the same id/pass.

Well this is embarassing. I can't even delete my own reply – am I mising something or is it impossible to delete anything on here once posted? If so, good to know, I will have to bite my tongue. I can get quite angry if something doesn't work... Please ignore – obviously – my last post. Thanks for replying so swiftly but that wasn't at all helpful. Please don't insult my intelligence by posting the most obvious of links, of course I checked there. This is about accessing the User Voice section specifically. I invite you to try and sign in here: https://indesign.uservoice.com/ with your normal Adobe CC account details, to leave a bug report or a feature request. Perhaps you have a special account, my Adobe CC login won't work with any of them and I am prompted to create an account for each app.

Regards,
Steph

Hi Steph,

I took care of that post for you, so no worries. Until you've been here a while, you can always ask a moderator to assist with fixing your typos.

Some of the forums moved away from UserVoice in 2021, and a few more did so recently. Instead they have combined the feedback forum with the user forum and added tags for Bugs and Ideas so everything is in one place.

I love this and hope all the forums decide to make the move — the sooner the better, imho!

Jane

one account is all that's needed, but the forums can be buggy (like this thread is for me this morning).

Hi,

to be able to give feedback you need an Adobe Account that you probably already have. More info can be found here https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/how-to-user-voice.html
Hope that helps to understand.
