Click the user avatar on the header banner => select "My Profile" from the drop-down => Click the edit icon on the top right corner of your current screen name => Enter your new name and submit! Please keep these guidelines in mind: It can contain letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), periods (.), underscore (_), and dash (-). It shouldn't contain:- Private information (PII) such as your email address- Symbols apart from the ones stated above. For example @&"=`'- A sequence of the allowed symbols. As long as you're signed in, you can now change your own username on the Community.

How, you ask?

Please keep these guidelines in mind:

It can contain letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), periods (.), underscore (_), and dash (-).
It shouldn't contain:
- Private information (PII) such as your email address
- Symbols apart from the ones stated above. For example @&"=`'
- A sequence of the allowed symbols. For example -_Abc_-
- The word 'Adobe' or any Adobe product
It can't be promotional, for example, a website
It can't be offensive and should comply with our Community Guidelines

I would like to change my user name. Changed in in Adobe ID but it hasnt changed in the community.

I used my email address and though that mught not be a good idea.

I have some somehow gotten two user names. Both have the same email and password. They are jwpotter and john Potter.

Would you please put them into one account. I don't care which youuse. John Potter is the older one.

Unfortunately, accounts can't be merged. The alternative option is to delete one of them, do you have access to both? Which one would you like me to delete?
