Hello, community!

As long as you're signed in, you can now change your own username on the Community.

How, you ask?

Click the user avatar on the header banner => select "My Profile" from the drop-down => Click the edit icon on the top right corner of your current screen name => Enter your new name and submit!

Please keep these guidelines in mind:

  1. It can contain letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), periods (.), underscore (_), and dash (-).

  2. It shouldn't contain:
    - Private information (PII) such as your email address
    - Symbols apart from the ones stated above. For example @&"=`'
    - A sequence of the allowed symbols. For example -_Abc_-
    - The word 'Adobe' or any Adobe product

  3. It can't be promotional, for example, a website

  4. It can't be offensive and should comply with our Community Guidelines

Thank you!

Hi Just Shoot Me,

Yes. I'm aware of what my current username is. Thanks for the reminder.

If you read, I said "my above comment" meaning 2 posts up from July 27th. I asked for my username to be changed to "MaloryArcher" and they forgot the "r" at the end. No one was responding to my reply.

Click your Avitar in the upper right hand corner of most any screen and select "My Follows". When the Follows page opens find the one for this conversation and place a Check Mark in the left hand box then at/near the top select Unfollow.

For this to work you have to be Signed In.

I tried to change it some weeks ago. But it is still the same (name and surname). Due to privacy policies I would like to be able to change it immediately. Are you really interested to users privacy or not?

A feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks!

When on the Adobe Support Community page, and I click my avatar (top right of screen), and click My Profile, it shows my name as martins89932002, and has a avatar selected from the stock list provided by Adobe.. however, when I click Account Settings > Edit on Adobe Account, it shows my expected Avatar image, and my Adobe screen name as DoYouLikeHam (as I'd expect).  why are they different?  It even states there "This is your screen name in the Adobe Support Community.", but clearly this isn't the case!
