Weird delays with email

I don't remember if this issue was discussed before, but I just had a really odd delay with my email notifications for the forums -- both outgoing, and incoming.

Incomming email on the forums is being monitored since a month or so. I

am seeing no delays there.

In the thread I linked to, I had a delay in the email that I sent for

close to a half hour, and received the email I referred to a half hour

late. During that half hour I did not receive a single email from any

Adobe forum.

I once (a few weeks ago) had a whole day that I did not receive forum

emails. I checked, and the email notification was still set in my

account. I toggled the notification in one place that I had it set,

and the emails started coming from all my subscriptions.

I don't have a way of snooping in on the monitoring of the outgoing email. But I can check the monitoring of the "Post by email" functionality and am not seeing anything weird.
