Question

Where do I find Adobe User Manuals and books in PDF for the iPad?

I'm standing in line waiting to get the new iPad 2 and have been looking for Adobe user manuals, classroom in a book series et. al., and nothing seems to be available for download to the iPad.

Is this true for now? When will ebooks from adobe become available?

I can't believe there is nothing yet.

I must be looking in all the wrong places, Amazon, Adobe site, Google... nothing.

Please help,

TIA,

Ken

OK... you are waiting for a brand new product which seems to have an "official" release date of March 11 http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&q=ipad+2+release+date and you expect people to already have documents?

Geez... talk about putting the cart before the horse!

The help pages have pdfs that you can download.

    For example:

    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/photoshop/cs/using/index.html

    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/photoshop/cs/using/photoshop_cs5_help.pdf

    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/indesign/cs/using/index.html

    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/indesign/cs/using/indesign_cs5_help.pdf

    Ken,

This forum is for discussing the various Adobe fora, so you might get more useful info from the Adobe Store, or even Amazon.com.

There are CiaB editions for the Kindle, so would assume that the iPad would be there too, but maybe not the very latest one yet.

    Good luck,

Bill, I wouldn't have come here, and I apologize sincerely for any inconvenience I have caused to you, but I have been online for the last 3 hours this morning searching Adobe, Amazon, Google and every conceivable link that even looked like it might help (please see my post where I mention that I have already searched these sources,) but to no avail. It is only after exhausting my internet resources that I have come here asking for help.

    I apologize,

    Ken

On Amazon, I see many pages of Adobe books for the Kindle (Amazon's electronic reader), but did not find an iPad material, but possibly did not know where to search. The Apple iPad store was not that easy to navigate and also wanted to reinstall iTunes on my laptop. Hm-m-m, not sure about that one.

My guess will that in time, more will be available for the iPad II.

    Good luck,
