Question

Why do you delete my posts? Is it because I said I'm switching to Capture One?

I'm curious if you delete my posts because I'm critical of the creative cloud?  Isn't that a little shady?  I thought you'd want to know why we won't use your cloud applications.  It's because I don't want you to charge me rent on my projects.  I think that is a reasonable thought and not worth censoring.

You've posted here exactly 1 time, according to the stats.  I have no idea whether deletion of posts decrements that count, but I suspect not.  That tends to imply the post never got into the forum in the first place.

Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by incompetence.

They do, actually.  If I delete spammers' posts, I see their post count decreasing until it reaches 0.

Messages can be deleted for various reasons (improper language, spam links), but not for being critical of Adobe products or policy.

If you had used improper language, you would have been contacted by Adobe staff.

If you posted spam, your forum account would have been disabled.

My suspicion: a forum malfunction.  These Jive forums have never worked great, and with each improvement they are getting worse!

I am checking in with Jive to see if they can pull up a log of who deleted the thread. It is definitely not policy to to delete critical messages.

    messages.

The culprit should then be named and shamed so that we know who he/she

is. No messages should be deleted; Only suitably censored if they

happen to be malicious or pedaling porn or pirated software.

There's plenty of heated criticism of the Cloud on the forum from lots of forum participants for all to read. You're no orphan there. Adobe has broad shoulders in that sense.

So, if any posts have been deleted as alleged, I doubt that's the reason. Perhaps your posts broke forum rules in some way?

Since this is your first post as Disgusted_Photographer, which forum name were you posting your criticism under and in which forum?

This forum is only to discuss how the forums operate, not products

If you go to the Forums Index http://forums.adobe.com/index.jspa

You will be able to select a forum for the Adobe product(s) you use

Actually, it sounds as if he is discussing how the forums operate...

It looks to me as if he is discussing his dislike for the Cloud, not how the forums work
