Why is email address no longer hidden?

Today I noticed that my email address is no longer hidden.  When you hover over my name it shows the email address and then says "Private hidden from all users".

It is also visible in the Profile.

It was not this way 2 days ago, and I have made no changes.  What gives?

    You're right: Nothing has changed.

    That is, YOU can see it, but it's hiden to the rest of us.

    Same with all of us who have chosen to keep our addresses hidden.

    I could not see it last week.  So just assumed since I see it now everyone else can see it also.

    No one can see it. Not even the forum hosts. I'm sure the sysops can, but they need to be able to help a user who is having issues.

    This forum does not have option to edit messages so - how do I change it to Private, and keep it that way?
