Why send someone to an "obselete" link/page?

We have upgraded to Captivate 5 - one of the features is the "Getting Started" link - which takes me to an obsolete page. Why? Why would you do that??? http://www.adobe.com/devnet-archive/captivate/

No. The reason could be that the link has changed since the update/upgrade was released. This only proves that web is a wonderful tool that is changing constantly.
