Question

How to track which model was used to create a vector from Firefly Web

Hi there

I’ve been working on a project for a client - that features 20+ vector characters created using FF. As part of our due-diligence process, we need to show that all AI outputs are from FF-only models (ie those that are commercially safe).

For those we generated in Illustrator, these are easily trackable.

BUT there are a small amount that were generated using the web version of FF text-to-vector.

The problem is:

  1. These images show up in the Illustrator document with the Spark icon (indicating a Generative Image) - but do not show what model was used (in the Properties or Generation History panel).
  2. We need to show our client that ALL generations were done using FF’s commercially-safe models, and not 3rd party models.
  3. Is there any way or resource we can use to verify that only FF models were used?
  4. And no, they don’t show up in the Web version’s “your stuff” folder

I find it strange that Illustrator can recognise that the vector is a Generative one, but not show the model used.

Additionally, I can find any way to access the metadata or Content Credentials for these.

Any help appreciated!

You can check out https://contentauthenticity.adobe.com/inspect and upload the generated SVG there.

Thanks Monica! I did try that though - nothing came up. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong.

I did try it with a JPG I created with FF Web, and that showed the content credentials and the variations (though not specifically the model used - which would be helpful), confirming it was make with the FF app.

I’ve attached an example of a vector in question.

If you open these in Illustrator, you’ll see the blue icon showing they are Gen images. But no other information.

Perhaps I’m doing something incorrectly - would you mind seeing if you get any results?

    Many thanks,

@Monika Gause Thanks so much. I’ll try that community. Problem is that I don’t have the original download file any more, we pasted them all into a single work board. Not sure if that would have affected the metadata. And I tested Content Credentials by creating a new SVG, then sent the downloaded file to the Authenticity site - it gave me no information back (only worked for JPGs, not SVGs).

Like I said, I’m 99% sure everything was created using FF models only. Just want to be sure.

And am I right in understanding FF outputs can be used across all commercial projects for clients (packaging, merch, etc)?

Thanks again for taking the time to respond.
