Lens profile missing Sigma 35mm 1.4 dg dn II

I shoot with Sony a7v and Sigma 35mm 1.4 dg dn II. On may 22th 2026 I have updated  LrC and Camera Raw, which include the lens profile for this Sigma lens (verified archive .lcp into the folder lensprofile>>1.0).

The Raw files taken with this lens edited in Lrc comes with “built in” profile, but when I try to change to custom and select Sigma 35mm 1.4 dg dn II (A026), it doesn’t show up, and when I select “auto” it selects a different lens.

How can I solve this?

thanks a lot,

kind regards,

Pablo

The lens profile for the Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG II A06 was first included in the most recent release of Camera Raw (18.3.1), whereas LR 15.3 has its own Camera Raw 18.3 built-in.   Each instance of Camera Raw has its own copy of lens profiles, so the Camera Raw 18.3 built into to LR isn’t seeing the new lens profile.

You can wait until LR 15.4 is released, likely the week of June 15.

If you can’t wait, then the safest workaround, rather than trying to muck around inside protected installation folders, is:

    1. Do the menu command File > Import Develop Profiles And Presets.

    2.

    a. On Mac: Do Cmd Shift G and copy/paste this line into the Finder dialog:

    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0/Sigma/Sigma

    b. On Windows, copy/paste this line into the File Explorer dialog’s address bar at the top:

    %PROGRAMDATA%\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0\Sigma\Sigma

    3. Select the file “SIGMA (Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG II A026) - RAW.lcp” and click Import.

    4. In the Lens Corrections panel’s Profile tab, select Make: Sigma. Then in the Model popup menu, scroll all the way to the top to find the new profile:

It starts with “Sigma” rather than “SIGMA” (Adobe sloppiness).

Mildly surprisingly, Adobe just released LR 15.3.1, with no bug fixes but incorporating the new lens and camera support from Camera Raw 18.3.1.  That includes this lens.

    @johnrellis

The Sigma lens profile was also released as part of LrC 15.3.1 https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html

    See

for details of added camera and lens support

As an extra information, the EXIF shows this lens correctly. And the “buil in” corrects just the chromatic aberration.

    thanks!
