I'm trying to view the tables on my local mysql database (MySQL v 5.1). I get this error in the database panel when I expand the tables: "While executing getComponentChildren in Connections.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occured: At line 64 of file "C:\\...\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\Components\Common\Connections\ConnectionsCommon.js": TypeError: dwscripts.isDateDBColumType is not a function" Where the table items should be listed, I just see a branch that says "Loading..." and it just sits there. I have the 8.0.1 update installed, and just can't figure out what is wrong. I have several extensions installed (mostly WebAssist and a few others). Does anybody know what to do to fix? Am I missing some compatibility info? Thanks...

Has anyone had a successful install of coldfusion mx7.0.1 in a linux vmware session? I found an issue listed on this site for coldfusion installed in a windows vmware session. I tried the work around using a silent install and still had installation issues. I have a form with a nested iframe. At the top of the form (outside the iframe) there is a drop-down box that is used to filter a large database table into a smaller result set. The iframe displays this result set in a table/grid, and each row has a check-box. The form must also have a 'submit' button (outside the iframe), which will update a second database table with the rows selected from the iframe grid entries that were selected using the checkboxes. So, the form's filter function creates the contents of the iframe, and the form's submit button uses the selected contents of the iframe to perform a database insert. Is this possible??? Thanks!

As i understand, padding paragraphs isn't supported in Flash. I'm not happy to just put a full line height after each paragraph, especially because the texts on my site will be loaded from a XML source. You'll find on my working site, an example on the Ego section. The XML file loaded can be found there. 1. The first solution for me was to put an extra node ( <espace> </espace> ) after each new paragraph and put all the text into a dynamic textfield. This is actually what is code. 2. Another solution would be this code. It creates a textfield for each node and place it after the code calculated the needed height. (see below) This, however has a drawback, i'm not fluent enough for now to how to devise a scrolling area for all these textfields... And is this the right method anyway? How do you manage spaces between paragraph? I want a simple solution for coding the XML file since it could be another person who will deal with the content. Which method is preferable

I need some one's help so badly........ I have been trying to do it on my own but I can only seem to solve one or 2 problems. Im making my own mp3 music interface player; it has 2 songs to be played and has a grey rect. backgrd, a play,pause, stop, forward,backward, volume,seekbar, and mute button. Everything is on its own layer and I do have my script hints on but i still do not fully understand the hints ( mainly knowing where to input filenames and what not ) I tried to use just behaviors for the player and had little success. I found out from a lot of my reading about flash that i need action script 2.0 to get this to work properly. Im new to flash 8 been working on it for about a week, i have used flash5 and director mx so i have some what of an idea on how things work in these kinds of programs. Im just not familar with actionscript but trying to be.... If I can get this to work there is one more obsticle I need to face: I need to put this player on the homepage of a website. I

Hello, Hope this is the right forum. Simple question: I create a new file with a white background. Next I open a digital color image. I select and move a portion of the digital image onto the first, white layer. I transform the image. I select the image layer and apply a gradient to the image layer and it covers the entire canvas, which I do not want. How do I apply filters only to the image layer? I want the original background to act as a frame. Thanks.

I'm having problems getting pseudo resources to work. I've written a format plug-in and I'm trying to store some text from the file header similar to the history resource in the SimpleFormat example. When I add the resource, I get no errors. If I check the resource count, it shows it has been added. However, whenever I save the file, the resource count always returns 0. What am I missing? I just need a place to preserve some text from the file's header. Thanks. Photoshop CS2 SDK, OSX 10.4.2
