Hi everyone, The Substance plugin for Maya v3.0.3 is now available. This update focuses on improving caching performance, and adding more flexibility for managing the "substance" folder location. We’ve also resolved key issues related to crashes, material previews, and caching in large scenes. Key updates include:   Improved caching system, with manual recaching options. Updated icons and support for sending/receiving presets via Connector. Hi everyone, The Substance plugin for 3ds Max v3.0.4 is now available. This update brings improvements to the plugin's user interface, including support for sending and receiving presets using Connector, along with fixes for key issues related to rendering, node management, and stability. Key updates include:   Updated plugin icons. Added support for sending and receiving presets using Connector. Resolved issues with Substance 2 materials not rendering properly with Corona. Hi everyone, Today, we're introducing #Substance3DConnector, an open-source framework designed to make it easier to connect different 3D software tools and share data. Substance 3D Connector is our response to a common problem: moving data between various packages and platforms. We've designed it to streamline this process, improving efficiency and allowing creators to focus on their work instead of spending time importing and exporting data. We know you found Live Link extremely useful in the past, so we've been working on a more general and robust version of it. Thanks to your feedback, I'm excited to finally share this news with you all. Our first iteration will support SendTo workflows, followed by live connection workflows in the future. And you heard that right, we are open-sourcing this technology. We're encouraging developers, artists, and industry partners to get involved. Hi everyone, Substance 3D Addon Version 2.0 is officially available on the Substance page, offering full compatibility with Blender versions 3.0 and above, including backward compatibility. This update brings a refactored plugin architecture aimed at better performance and integration with Blender. Highlights of Version 2.0: Refactored architecture – improved plugin structure for enhanced performance and integration Future expansion support – the update lays the groundwork for easily adding new features in the future Broader compatibility – fully compatible with Blender versions 3.0 and above, including support for Mac users Key Improvements since the last beta update: We’ve fixed the issue where duplicating materials multiple times caused an error.
