Flash Player not working with Adobe Acrobat

We recently installed a new computer and successfully reinstalled Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. I am in the process of converting emails (in Microsoft Outlook) to Adobe pdf. We've been doing this for years with no problems on other computers and this is the first time I've seen this problem. After the conversion, an Adobe window opens and should show the list of emails that were converted (anywhere from 2 to infinity). But after this recent install the list doesn't appear. Instead, a window opens with the message "To view the Flash technology content of this PDF file, please install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe Reader and Acrobat." My choices are "proceed to download page", "learn more", and "cancel". I've proceeded to the download page and downloaded the Flash Player and installed it. I've verified that I have the current upgrades to my Acrobat XI Pro. I've verified that Flash Player is working. I've restarted the computer. But I still see the above error message when I try to view one of the special pdf's that contains the converted emails. And I can see the converted email pdfs on all other computers in the office, just not this one.

Any ideas?

Please make sure you have installed Flash Player Plugin as well. From your description, it seems you have installed only the ActiveX component. For windows, recommendation is to install both.

Thanks,

Vishal

yor94303496 I'm sorry but I haven't commented on this thread. Not sure which exact problem was yours but I am glad this worked to fix it.
