Holding Shift to Snap.

Hey, new to the program. I have been playing around with it the past few days, and for some reason today, I can not hold shift and snap the timeline bar to clips/markers/keyframes. Did I accidentally disable this? How can I fix it?

Impossible to know without actual system information and other technical details. That said, snapping in AE simply is flaky and not particulalrly good. You could simply be one of the unfortunate people where due to some exotic issue with e.g. screen configuration or an input device it doesn't work.

Thanks for your input. It's unfortunate if that is correct, but I can still work without it. It is more of an Inconvenience than anything else.

"Timeline Bar" is erroneous and at best, ambiguous because there is no such thing.

Which of the following are you alluding to — Current Timeline Indicator. Work Area Bar, or Layer Stem(s)?

Caps Lock isn't on. Still having issues. It seems to be intermittent now.
