Question

Logo animation

I am animating my logo and decided to create 4 different animations for each word so that each word can animate in its own color rather than  the same color for all. I am trying to combine the 4 animations as they complete my logo. I tried a blend option and all they did was overlap  unable to readjust or re-position the texts. I would like to combine to combine the 4 animations so they all align to form one logo.

Do you know about transparency and Alpha Channels?  If not, you're in for a world of hurt.

if I can figure out how to combine or blend 2 .aep files at a time, (animated logos) I may be able to find a way around it, possibly reconstructing each part of the logo to blend in using correct measurements/angles. there was not much on alpha channels or transparency that was relevant to what I am trying to achieve. They mostly dealt with still graphics or greenscreens. I can upload 2 completed animations to after effects but cant seem to align the 2

Havnt read the glossary for AE yet, started free trial for AP couple days ago, figured id upgrade my logo for my videos. I used to use IMovie, currently use apps, considering adobe, oh well, you would think this would be as simple as a copy/paste, tilt/drag action,

In order to use After Effects, you must do some serious homework. It is an incredibly complex app that requires an understanding of the principals of animation, layering, blending modes, video formats, video standards, frame rates, and a user interface that has thousands of switches. There is almost nothing in the app that is as simple as click here - get magic. If I was teaching a course on using After Effects I would spend the first 10 hours on just getting familiar with the controls. If you want to learn how to make AE work start here: Basic AE

Even adapting your logo to an existing template is going to require that you understand the basics.
