My After Effects CC 2018 Won't Open (Side-by-Side Configuration is Incorrect)

I have Adobe After Effects CC 2018 as part of my Adobe Creative Cloud apps, and it works good. But lately I have been getting an error whenever I try to open After Effects. It says, "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail." This has actually been going on for a week now, and I haven't been able to use Adobe After Effects since this error has been showing. Therefore, is there any way to solve this?

    Thanks for the link. I'm sure that will work

    Before that, I tried poking at certain folders and manifests in Windows Registry, but that did nothing. But I'll try the tip from that link and see if that will get my After Effects working again.
