extremely slow spooling / printing / how to centrally change settings
Hello,
We are having the issue where spooling and printing is running excruciatingly slow. So far these steps seem to resolve the issue. How would I go about centrally changing the settings across the enterprise? We are using BMC Client Management so it should be possible to deploy out a rule to change the keys in the registry for the desktop or user. I just don't know which ones this impacts.
Adobe PDF slow to print
If Adobe Acrobat Reader prints slowly try the following:
- Open a PDF file.
- From the menu, select File > Print.
- From the dialog displayed, click on the Advanced button at the bottom.
- On the Advanced Print Setup dialog, make sure that “Let printer determine colors” is CHECKED.
- Click OK and OK to print the document.
